Its been a while sense I've done any type of graphic work, life's kept me busy. I had a little down time for a change so I went browsing for some interesting tutorials. I stumbled upon 3 or 4 that I really liked. I took little bits and pieces of the different tutorials, back ground concepts, the light beams, creating shatter brushes, etc. and came up with this.
