11 second club

Here is a play blast of a lip sync I did for the 11 second club back in march. I'm in the process of lighting and rendering it fully. I will post it as soon as its complete.

This is my very first animation in 3DS Max. It's not my best by any means, but I was just getting a feel for how 3DS Max operates and how the buttons work. This was done about 8 or 9 months ago. I have 3DS Max down pretty pat now Id like to think.

While waiting

Yep, all done! Here it is! I changed the stars around, added some shading to the hills and put houses up.

Alright I've worked on it a little bit more, made it a little more "pleasing to the eye" and kind of filled some of the void the first draft had. I'm thinking about adding a small row of houses on the farthest hill.

While I was waiting for a render to finish up ,I decided to get in the spirit of Christmas. What better way than to create a new desktop wall paper. My monitors are turned on their side to make it easier for me to work in Flash so my resolution for this is 1280h x 2048w. I'm feeling this image is rather empty so I will continue to work on it

OneChadTall

Some artwork for my new site!

Undercity

Here is my image completed. I rendered it out with no color or effects then brought it into photoshop and worked my magic.
Had some down time at work so I started playing with a 3DS Max plug in called Greeble. It's a "city builder" plug-in, sort of. There's no detail, its just used for creating city outlines and small topographical maps. I used it for an abstract composition.

Wallpaper

I had some free time at work so I made a new wallpaper for my computer. Did this in Photoshop, took me about 30 mins.

Gamer Tags

I'm a big gamer, [TC]Full-o-holes is my gamer tag so these are some logos I made for a few games I play. I apologize that the resolution is so small on some of these, on some games they have to be small in order for them to show up

Abstract

Had some free time at work so I decided to try my hand at abstract 3D. Done in 3DS Max, just used a photometric light and a skylight to generate the caustics. Took about 20 mins to model and set up and about an hour to render

I read a tutorial online for generating caustics using photometric lights in 3DS Max so I figured Id give it a shot, here was my end results.

Forest

This is a backdrop I painted in photoshop for an animation short I'm starting to work on. Its about a rookie forest ranger. He's a young man on his first night "on duty" and in the end, ends up setting the whole forest on fire. Ill start posting more production shots as I move along on the project.

3DS Max first expierence

I was getting familiar with 3DS Max. I had never used it before so I dove right in and started learning textures and shaders. I played with all different types of lighting, read some tutorials online to learn how to get decent caustics, and just had a field day.

V13 logo

A friend of mine was being shipped off to Iraq and asked me if I could do a design of the V13 logo from "Fallout" for him before he left. I started out simple and just had more fun with it as I went on.

Just playing

Just playing with filters, I like doing a lot of abstract images

Who Are You?

This is a short series of "Who are you?" images I did just for fun. All done in Photoshop using different styles and filters
