Computer Wall Paper

My gf asked me today to "create her a new wallpaper for her computer" and of course I said yes. She is a HUGE World of Warcraft fan so I had her do some "screen caps" of her character. I took them, cut her out and at the same time was reading a tutorial on how to do "water color" paintings in Photoshop. I got this awesome effect using a few different blending layers and some water color brushes I created a little while back.

Log time no post!

I got a little free time at work today so I decided to add some contrast to my planet. I like it, Im just not sure if its too much now.

Well, life's been super crazy, moved from coast to coast and finally am settling down. Been playing around in photoshop a lot but haven't really posted anything in a while. I've gotten really into creating planets and galaxies and such. Here is something I did last night while watching TV. I've been reading a lot of tutorials on how to create most of these effects and have been applying them to my work.

1ChadTall

A friend showed me a video that was done entirely in this process but involved flowers opening, animals being created and running away, etc. The video inspired me to find out how they had done all of it and this is what I came up with. This was done using 3DS Max and took only a few hours from start to finish.

Maxo!

scene 3

I found a 3DS Max version of Pixar's "Luxo Lamp" and wanted to see what it was made of. It's been a while sense I've tried to animate something without features, so I wanted to see if I could still "bring it to life". Im working on a few more scenes to finish up this little animation, but I figured I would toss up some playblasts of what I have done already.
